Sunday 30th May saw the club open up the gates to the local community so that we could show what goes on, to enjoy a cream tea, partake in a raffle and have a go at bowling with the assistance of qualified bowls coaches, all within Government guidelines with soacial distancing being observed.

The weather was wonderful as was the response and it was good to see so many new faces on the bowling green for the first time. It was even better to see that so many of the visitors seemed to take to it very well and were keen to try it again. Membership forms were taken by several visitors and we look forward to welcoming them back to the club shortly.

The club is holding "roll up" sessions on a Friday evening at 6pm from Friday 11th June for members and prospective members to practice further, weather permitting, just pop along.
